Introduction:
The Hague Veterans Society is an activity organized by the Veterans Commemoration Foundation. In principle every 3rd Thursday of the month Veterans can meet upstairs on the first floor of restaurant Poentjak on the Kneuterdijk 16 in The Hague.
The Veterans Commemoration Foundation was established in 2005 with the aim of increasing the social recognition, appreciation and knowledge of Veterans. To this end, we organize meetings for veterans and interested parties, lectures and presentations. In addition, the Veterans Commemoration Foundation was the initiator and organizer of “Ode to the Veterans” an annual event on the National Veterans Day in The Hague. The foundation also has ensured that all veterans in the Netherlands have free access to Pasar Malam Indonesia on presentation of their Veterans Pass.
